Kiwana AI utilizes AI technology to process visual data from video content you authorize or upload. Our scanning technology analyzes video frames to detect objects, logos, and aesthetics. This processing occurs to provide shoppable tagging features. We do not store raw biometric data, but we do store processed metadata regarding the products detected in your content.
We share relevant data with third-party AI service providers for vision analysis and with payment processors to facilitate transactions. These partners are required to protect your data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
We employ military-grade encryption for all data at rest. Product detections are retained to build your storefront gallery. You may request deletion of your account and all associated AI analysis data at any time via account settings.
When a purchase is made through a Kiwana-powered storefront, we share limited order-related information with the third-party business fulfilling the order. This may include shipping address, order details, and contact information necessary for order fulfillment and customer service. Each fulfillment partner operates under their own privacy policy and is independently responsible for the protection of data they receive.
We may also share aggregated, non-personally identifiable data with businesses for analytics and reporting purposes, such as product performance metrics and category trends.
Kiwana does not store, process, or have access to your credit card or payment card information at any time. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. When you make a purchase or receive payouts, your financial data is transmitted directly to and stored by Stripe in accordance with their security standards. For more information, please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
